New Move-Ins are Easy with DomicoCloud
Moving in a new tenant into DomicoCloud is quick and seamless! Its important that this basic function is easy but gets the job done as it acts as your first impression, letting the new tenant know that you value their time.
The New Tenant screen includes basic contact information, email/username/password for the tenant’s online account access, autopay options, additional information, and leasing details.
Quickly Complete New Tenant Forms
The New Tenant form can be customized in a couple of ways. First, facility owners can choose which fields to require. Our technicians can help set up Required Fields during the initial software build process.
Secondly, customize Additional Fields to collect data that is not already on the form. The screenshot below shows the default form, which includes Tax Exempt and Birthdate. In the second screenshot, the self storage facility collects Distance Traveled, Date of Birth, How did you hear about us?, Storage Usage, and Drivers License.
Assign Desired Unit to Tenant Profile
The last step in the New Tenant form is the Leasing information. Here, you browse available units and choose one to assign to the new tenant. Once a unit and move-in date is chosen, associate charges will populate in the Billing Plans on Unit and Initial Charges and Credits.
Complete Payment for New Move-In
After saving the completed form, DomicoCloud by default will automatically show the Payment Entry screen to complete payment for the move-in.
Lease Agreement Options
“New Customer” is a trigger for Automatic Action. Our techs can work with facilities to set up actions such as triggering the Lease Agreement to automatically pop-up after a New Move-In. Another option is to have the Lease Agreement emailed directly to the customer.
